Battambang Police Arrest Two Drug Suspects

BATTAMBANG: The Anti-Drug Task Force in Battambang’s Ek Phnom District have arrested two drug suspects after a raid on Monday night. The first suspect, named as 38-year-old Chhoeun Hort, was allegedly caught with a 5g bag of methamphetamine. He was in his village of Rohal Suong in Prek Luong commune when police came knocking.

After he allegedly confessed, the anti-drug force continued its operation netting a second suspect about an hour later. He has been identified as 32-year-old Kea Leang Kry, also of Prek Luong commune. Police allegedly discovered just over 3g of methamphetamine and an electronic scale.

Both suspects are being held at the Battambang Provincial Prosecutor's Office. The drugs and scale have been confiscated as evidence and have been sent for processing at the court.
